I have a story on FimFiction!

I thought I'd try writing a regular story with words instead of my usual writing of music. I've completed the first chapter and it's uploaded to FimFiction at http://www.fimfiction.net/story/224949/first-contact. The premise of the story is that Twilight accidentally creates a portal from Equestria to the human world we know. Humans and ponies begin crossing over both ways, and both societies have to deal with suddenly having a whole new race of people. One can imagine how the two might react differently given their histories and cultural beliefs; I won't leave spoilers here. The story starts in the middle of Season 3 in Equestria and roughl

A way to reverse (some of) the changes!

I'm sure everyone has noticed the layout changes thrust upon us all, and I'm sure that you, just like I and probably 99%+ of the members of dA, thoroughly dislike them. I posted a nice long rant about it all a couple hours ago, but I am now happy to announce that there is somewhat of a fix. The profile and messages buttons can be moved back to their proper place in the middle of the top bar, and that garish rectangle around the Submit button can be removed. I would like to extend an enormous thank you to rotane (https://www.deviantart.com/rotane) for creating the Stylish plug-in style that undoes all these supposed "upgrades", and an almost-as-enormous thank you to :devTV
